Our Focus

Bronntanas is committed to offering safe, confidential spaces for individuals, couples and families living in rural communities who are LGBTQIAF, or questioning their sexualities and/or heteronormative lives. We aim to create access to a network of appropriately trained, experienced and supported psychotherapists/counsellors who are affirming of this client group. The services offered by Bronntanas’s practitioners do not assume that clients are only coming to psychotherapy because of their sexual orientation or gender identity - but are seeking support from a psychotherapist who is affirming and accepting of their sexuality and their life choices.

Bronntanas psychotherapists and practitioners will adhere to at least one of the following code of ethics: European Council of Psychotherapy (ECP), Irish Association of Humanistic & Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP), Irish Council of Psychotherapy (ICP), United Kingdom Council of Psychotherapy (UKCP), Irish Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (IACP), British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP).
